Role: Business Development Executive

Location: Melbourne (Toorak), Australia

Work arrangement: Full-time, in-office

Compensation: AUD 90,000 OTE + Super

You'll join a fast-growing international fintech focused on flexible funding for SMEs. The business has expanded from Australia into APAC and Europe, has funded over $5B in loans, and is continuing to scale.

What You'll Do

- You'll onboard and educate brokers and partners on products, policies, platforms, and Partner Portal access.
- You'll build and maintain relationships with brokers, partners, and internal stakeholders that support revenue growth.
- You'll spend part of your week on targeted outbound calling and email outreach to engage prospective partners and keep onboarding moving.
- You'll keep CRM records, data entry, scheduling, and communications accurate and up to date, with a strong focus on compliance and follow-through.
- You'll support a senior relationship lead with day-to-day partner engagement and execution, escalating more complex issues when needed.

Who We're Looking For

You'll likely suit this role if you enjoy being hands-on, organised, and confident dealing with partners while keeping the admin side tight.

Must-Haves

- Experience in sales support or business development support, including outbound calls, email follow-up, and CRM upkeep
- Confidence using sales-focused CRM systems
- Clear verbal and written communication, with the ability to build trust in broker or partner-facing conversations
- Early-career to lower-mid experience level, with enough independence to run day-to-day support while working alongside a senior relationship lead
- Solid organisation and follow-through, especially when managing detail-heavy admin and multiple moving parts at once

- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with a mix of calls, emails, meetings, events, and follow-up
- Experience in financial services, business lending, or another regulated commercial environment
