Sydney | Full time | $140k-$170k + super + performance bonus, depending on experience

EasyAsset is a 20-person, founder-led business with ambitious growth plans. We're building an ecosystem that helps Australian businesses find, finance, insure and manage the assets they need.

We're looking for an exceptional hands-on operator to work closely with our CEO and help build the next version of our company.

This isn't a traditional operations role. You'll build things, automate things, find great people and make the company work better.

What you'll own

- ? AI & automation: Personally build AI-powered workflows, automations, dashboards and tools that make our team faster and more effective.
- ? Execution: Turn priorities into clear goals, ownership, metrics and accountability.
- ? Recruitment: Personally source, approach, screen and help select exceptional people to join us.
- ? Business improvement: Get into the detail across sales, marketing, product and operations to find bottlenecks and fix them.
- ? People & leadership: Help managers set clear expectations, develop their people and create a high-performance, empathetic environment.
- ? CEO leverage: Gradually take operational complexity off the CEO so he can spend more time on products, growth and strategy.

Who we're looking for

You might currently be a Business Operations Lead,



Operations Lead, General Manager, or an unusually capable operator doing something we haven't thought of.

More important than your title is how you operate.

You're commercial, highly organised and great with people, but you're also a builder. If a process is broken, your instinct isn't to write a policy about it. It's to understand it, simplify it and potentially build something that fixes it.

You genuinely use AI every day and are comfortable getting your hands dirty with tools like ChatGPT/Claude, n8n/Make/Zapier, APIs, spreadsheets, dashboards and lightweight coding.

You don't need to be a software engineer. But you're the sort of person who can go from "there must be a better way to do this" to a working first version yourself.

Where this can go

This is a high-impact role working directly with the CEO across almost every part of the business.

For someone who proves they can build systems, develop people and increasingly lead the organisation, there is a genuine pathway toward Head of Business Operations and potentially COO.

We care much more about what you've built, improved and achieved than having the perfect CV.
