As a CAD & SALES Support Technician, you will be the key link between the sales office and the workshop. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs to support the manufacturing and production teams. You will work closely with engineers, workshop technicians and local and overseas suppliers to ensure designs meet quality standards and project requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and designs to support the manufacturing and production teams.
- Work closely with engineers, workshop technicians and local and overseas suppliers to ensure designs meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Assist with design revisions, documentation, and QA/QC processes.
- Answer phone calls and take and process sales orders.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to provide technical advice on TEA products.
About you
- Proficiency in 2D/3D modelling software SolidWorks
- Demonstrated ability in creating engineering drawings of complex mechanical components
- Knowledge on engineering drawing principles including Weldments, GD&T;
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy in design/drafting work
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers and team members
- Familiarity or previous experience in manufacturing/engineering and technical sales workplace are highly regarded
- Relevant qualifications in CAD, Transport Engineering, Welding or a related field are preferred
- Previous experience as a parts supplier will be an added advantage
