Heartwood Projects is a locally owned carpentry business working across Newcastle, Maitland and the Hunter. We do a mix of commercial fit-outs and residential work, including decks, stairs, extensions, pergolas and bathroom renovations.
The role
- Measure, cut and shape timber and other materials using hand tools and power tools to precise specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy in all carpentry work.
- Install walls, flooring, roofing, doors, windows and other structural elements according to design requirements.
- Running jobs day to day on site and working with minimal supervision.
- Mentoring and guiding apprentices.
- Dealing with clients professionally on site.
What you'll need
- Cert III in Carpentry.
- Current White Card and a full driver's licence.
- Your own hand and power tools and reliable vehicle.
- Good communication, and patience with apprentices
