About the role

MarineFab is a small marine fabrication workshop known for precision work and great customer feedback. We’re looking for a casual assistant to support management, help customers, and jump in with light workshop tasks. Perfect for someone wanting school‑hours flexibility with the option to grow into full‑time.

What you’ll do

- Greet customers, answer calls/emails
- Support management with simple admin (no accounting)
- Update jobs and help organise daily workflow
- Assist fabricators with basic prepping, cutting, grinding, cleaning
- Keep the workshop tidy and safe

Who you are

- Friendly, practical, organised
- Comfortable switching between customer service,



admin and hands‑on tasks
- Reliable and willing to learn
- Ideal for parents wanting school‑hours work

Hours & pay

- Casual, school‑hours friendly (e.g., 9:00–2:30)
- 15–25 hrs/week + extra hours when busy
- $35–$45/hr
- Pathway to full‑time
