We are seeking experienced on demand Casual Data Centre Engineers / Field Engineers Data Centre Engineers and Field Engineers with robust hands-on experience in break/fix support, rack & stack deployments, hardware installations, migrations, and cutovers within enterprise and data centre environments.

Visa holders with restricted working hours encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform hardware break/fix activities on servers, storage, and networking equipment
- Rack, stack, cable, and commission infrastructure within data centre environments
- Support technology refresh, migration, deployment, and cutover projects
- Install and configure servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and associated hardware
- Provide Smart Hands and Remote Hands support
- Perform hardware diagnostics and component replacement
- Execute structured cabling, fibre patching, and connectivity testing
- Complete project documentation, site reports, and asset tracking
- Work closely with remote engineering and project teams during installations and cutovers

Required Experience




- Previous experience as a Data Centre Engineer, Data Centre Technician, Field Engineer, Deployment Engineer, or Smart Hands Engineer
- Solid break/fix troubleshooting skills
- Experience with rack & stack deployments
- Installation and cutover experience within enterprise environments
- Knowledge of server, storage, and network infrastructure
- Experience working in data centres or mission-critical environments
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills
- Full Australian Driver's Licence

Highly Regarded
- Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, IBM, or Fujitsu hardware
- Fibre optics and structured cabling experience
- Network deployment and migration experience
- Data Centre access accreditation
- Active Police Check
- Working with Children Check
