Melbourne Social Co is looking for a creative and reliable Casual Content Creator to support our team during our busy October–December period.
This role will assist with content creation and planner curation across a variety of brands and industries. You’ll help bring social media content to life, from contributing ideas and curating planners to shooting and editing engaging, social-first content.
There may be an opportunity for this position to expand into a full time role for the right person after the casual engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Support the creation and curation of social media content.
- Assist with developing and populating social media content planners.
- Capture content at client shoots and events.
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and other social platforms.
- Turn raw footage into polished, engaging and platform-native content.
- Contribute creative concepts, trends, hooks and content ideas.
- Work collaboratively with our account services and production teams.
- Manage deadlines across multiple clients and projects.
About youYou’ll be someone who:
- Has experience creating and editing social-first content.
- Understands what makes content perform across Instagram and TikTok.
- Has a strong eye for visual storytelling, trends, pacing and attention to detail.
- Is confident shooting content on a iPhone
- Is comfortable using CapCut
- Is organised, proactive and able to work across several brands.
- Enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced agency environment.
- Is available for up to 15 hours per week between October and December, including some on-location shoots around Melbourne.
