Bring your specialist clinical knowledge and leadership skills to our Medical Imaging team, supporting high-quality patient care, staff development and continuous improvement across the service.
About The Prospect Join our Medical Imaging team as a Senior Theatre Radiographer and use your specialist clinical expertise and leadership skills to support the delivery of safe, high-quality radiology services. Working across complex clinical procedures and multiple modalities, you will contribute to service improvement, staff development and the effective operation of the theatre radiography service. In this role you will:
- Provide expert clinical radiography services across theatre and relevant imaging modalities, supporting high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Provide clinical and operational leadership, mentoring and supporting medical radiation scientists and students to build capability and maintain high standards of practice.
- Lead and contribute to quality assurance, accreditation, radiation safety and continuous improvement activities across the service.
- Support the development and implementation of effective workflows, procedures and practices that optimise patient flow, service efficiency, equipment utilisation and safety.
- Build strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams and internal and external stakeholders, while supporting education, equipment maintenance, compliance, research and service development.
For more information about this role, please view the Position Description About You You are an experienced and confident Radiographer who brings strong clinical expertise, leadership capability and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care. You enjoy supporting others, improving services and working collaboratively in a dynamic theatre environment. We are looking for someone who has:
- Extensive clinical experience in the relevant modality, with strong skills and knowledge across at least one additional modality.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to mentor, supervise and support the professional development of staff and students.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, quality assurance, relevant legislation, policies and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of practice.
- Proven experience leading quality improvement initiatives and implementing best-practice workflows and procedures to improve service delivery.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
