Are you passionate about cooking nutritious, delicious meals and making a difference in the lives of children We are looking for an enthusiastic Centre Chef or Cook to join our team
Our much-loved Centre Chef Josie has made the exciting decision to move into an Educator role within our centre While we will miss having Josie in the kitchen we are excited to see her take this next step and continue making a difference with our children
About the Role
As our Centre Cook you will:
- Prepare and serve fresh nutritious home-style meals for our children
- Create menus that reflect seasonal produce and children’s preferences
- Cater for dietary requirements allergies and individual needs
- Maintain high standards of food safety hygiene and cleanliness
- Work alongside educators and families to support children’s nutritional needs
- Bring creativity and variety to our daily meals and snacks
- Help create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience for our children
What We’re Looking For
- Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Current Blue Card essential
- A genuine passion for cooking and working with children
- Knowledge of food safety and dietary requirements
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable enthusiastic and able to work independently
- A warm and positive approach to being part of our centre community
