About the Role
Angie Sue is looking for a passionate and experienced Full time Chef to join our team at our Lauderdale location.
We are seeking a motivated Chef who takes pride in preparing fresh, high-quality food and enjoys working in a busy café environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of café-style breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes.
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste and presentation.
- Manage food preparation and service during busy periods.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
- Minimise food wastage and maintain proper stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
- Follow food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Assist with menu preparation and development where required.
About You
- Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar commercial kitchen role.
- Relevant Commercial Cookery or Hospitality qualification.
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Positive attitude and good teamwork skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
