Our Bakery is a little different. You won't be producing loaves of bread here. Instead, we're all about viennoiserie, doughs and the craft of lamination - creating beautiful, buttery, layered products that our stores are known for.
We're looking for an experienced Chef de Partie – Bakery to join our Production Kitchen and play an important role in both the day-to-day delivery of our Bakery operation and where we take it next.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the technical side of pastry, understands what makes great viennoiserie and wants to keep developing their craft — while also having the confidence and capability to lead, motivate and develop a team of experienced and developing bakers.
What you'll be doing... You'll work alongside the wider leadership team to ensure our products are consistently produced to the highest standards, while helping our people become better at what they do.
What we're looking for...
We're looking for someone who has strong technical capability but also knows how to bring people along with them.
You'll ideally have
- Previous experience in a Senior Baker / Chef de Partie-level role, particularly within viennoiserie and dough lamination.
- A strong understanding of the technical processes behind quality viennoiserie, including dough handling, lamination, fermentation and baking.
- A genuine interest in developing products and improving the way things are done.
- A full understanding of how Bakery production contributes to the success of our stores — including the importance of quality control, consistency, timing and operational efficiency.
This is a Full time opportunity suited to a Baker with at least 3 years' experience.
