Gidgegannup, Perth WA | Immediate start available Noble Falls Tavern is seeking an experienced, motivated Chef to join our friendly kitchen team.
Located in Gidgegannup, approximately 15 minutes east of Midland, our family-owned tavern serves lunch and dinner five days a week, Wednesday to Sunday. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their cooking and shares our commitment to delivering a great dining experience.
About the role
You will play an active role in daily kitchen operations, preparing quality meals and maintaining consistent standards during busy services. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to contribute creative ideas to seasonal menus and specials.
Your responsibilities will include
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Managing preparation and service efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen.
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards.
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Contributing ideas for seasonal menu updates and specials.
- Supporting effective stock rotation and minimising food waste.
About you We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a busy tavern, pub or restaurant.
- Strong cooking skills, sound product knowledge and a passion for quality food.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- The ability to take direction and work independently.
- A reliable, punctual and enthusiastic approach.
- Clear English communication skills.
- Availability for lunch, dinner and weekend shifts.
Applicants must currently live in Perth, WA, and have reliable transport to and from Gidgegannup. What we offer
