Dynamic role for a hands-on fundraising expert dedicated to ensuring local communities across Queensland's West Moreton region can access high-quality healthcare close to home

- If not yet a CEO, you need to come well equipped to step smoothly into this role
- Not ‘just’ a desk job: lots of ‘out + about’ to steward relationships/income sources
- Collaborative and empowering, it is second nature for you to build capability, foster a positive culture and unite teams around a shared purpose

Build something satisfying for future generations… Rarely will you find such a genuinely meaningful CEO role. In a growing Foundation, supported by a cohesive, future-focused Board, and warmly endorsed by its public, it’s all about providing the resources essential for comprehensive health care in the West Moreton region (the Foundation supports communities throughout the West Moreton Health catchment, which encompasses Ipswich, Somerset, Scenic Rim and Lockyer Valley).

Built on the commitment of its people and the strength of its community partnerships, the Foundation has earned a reputation as a trusted and respected contributor to the region. Strong stakeholder support, a recognised identity and a culture of collaboration provide an excellent platform for continued success.

With strong foundations in place and significant opportunities ahead, the Board is seeking its next leader who can build upon the organisation's success, strengthen its impact and shape its future direction: an enterprising, hands-on strategist with the business, leadership, fundraising and personal capabilities to confidently take the reins,

build on the Foundation's momentum and magnify its community impact through philanthropy.

By connecting community generosity with the healthcare needs of the West Moreton region, you'll help maximise the Foundation's impact and improve the lives of people across one of Queensland's fastest-growing communities. As you nurture widespread goodwill, formulate and drive strategies to grow fundraising returns, expand major gift programs, expand donor engagement and explore new revenue opportunities, you’ll be connecting community generosity to the advancement of healthcare outcomes. Now and for the future.

And what could be more fulfilling than that!

It’s your executive skills and community connection that are paramount. Whether you're an established CEO or an accomplished executive ready for your first CEO appointment, you'll bring proven experience in strategy, governance, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, financial stewardship and people leadership. Most importantly, you'll possess a genuine connection to community and the capacity to lead a purpose-driven organisation with confidence, credibility and impact.

Above all, you need to be a proven leader who is already connected to the West Moreton region, and consequently,

very excited by this prospect to support future healthcare though community engagement, fundraising and philanthropy.

To do justice to this exceptional role, you will need to relate easily at all levels, thrive on ‘being out there’ and involved hands-on in the community. You’ll appreciate the importance of being ‘local’, visible and trusted. But you’re also strategically adept and motivated by your ability to action community outcomes. Commercially astute and tuned to the ‘Big Picture,’ you’re practised in determining areas of sustainability, accountability, profitability and growth.

If you genuinely care about the West Moreton region and the communities that make it special and are confident you have both the skills and experience to shape the future of its up-and-coming Health Foundation, please write to us today. Be sure to include a covering letter that clearly outlines why you believe you have what’s needed to drive this vital enterprise to its next level of success.

To be considered for this role, please forward your cover letter and your resume in WORD format quoting reference number MCCEWM to [email protected] or contact Mike Conroy on [07 3211 0001](tel:07 3211 0001).
