$50 per hour | Remote Work | Food & Accommodation Provided IBE Contracting is a local Indigenous-owned civil construction company delivering civil construction and infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory.
We are looking for a Civil Operator / Truck Driver to join our team for remote civil construction works. This is a broad role suited to an experienced truck driver, plant operator, civil all-rounder, or someone with a range of relevant skills and competencies.
The Role
You will assist with a variety of civil construction activities and operate vehicles, plant and equipment as required. The role may include:
- Operating trucks and civil construction plant
- General civil construction and labouring duties
- Earthworks, roadworks, drainage and rehabilitation
- Loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment
- Assisting with site preparation and general works
- Carrying out pre-start checks and basic equipment inspections
- Working safely and effectively as part of a team
- Following site procedures, SWMS and WHS requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous civil construction experience
- Holds a current driver's licence
- Has experience operating trucks, plant or other civil equipment
- Has relevant tickets or competencies (desirable but not essential)
- Is willing to undertake a range of duties as required
- Is reliable, safety-focused and works well within a team
- Is comfortable working remotely and away from home
- Takes pride in their work and looks after equipment
Relevant tickets, licences and competencies are highly regarded, but we encourage applications from experienced civil workers who may not hold a specific ticket/licence.
