Nipakawa Steiner School is a brand-new initiative, located in the beautiful Southern Beaches of Lutruwita, Tasmania. Nipakawa means ‘wave’ in the Palawa Kani aboriginal language, which describes our wide-open skies, coastal location and surfing community as well as the rhythm and flow of our educational approach.
Nipakawa opened its doors this year with a combined Kinder/Prep and a Class 1. We plan to expand next year to offer a composite Class 1 and 2.
You will be an experienced Steiner educator OR have a robust connection to Steiner education and have a willingness to develop your skills and understanding of Steiner pedagogy. You will have (or be eligible for) teacher registration in Tasmania, have a current WWVP card and First Aid qualification.
We look forward to receiving your CV and cover letter.
