Salary Range: $79,589 - $118,063 Location: City of Casey Employment Type: Full Time, Part Time, Ongoing, Fixed Term

About the School

Tradewind is partnering with a number of Victorian government specialist schools settings across Melbourne's south‑east. These schools support students across Foundation to Year 12 who require significant adjustments, with a strong focus on wellbeing, engagement, and building independence. Across these settings, you'll typically find:

- structured learning environments with predictable routines
- collaborative team models (teachers working closely with education support staff and allied services)
- practical, hands-on curriculum opportunities alongside a clear emphasis on literacy and numeracy growth

About the Role

We're recruiting 2027 Classroom Teachers. Depending on your experience, strengths and campus needs, you may:
- take ownership of a class group and deliver adjusted curriculum programs aligned to individual learning goals
- work closely with education support staff and allied services
- contribute to whole-school improvement priorities (particularly literacy/numeracy growth)
- Support broader team capacity through modelling practice, coaching/mentoring and using data to lift outcomes

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver differentiated learning programs aligned to individual student goals
- Implement high-impact teaching strategies and evaluate impact over time
- Monitor progress using observation, assessment and data to inform next steps
- Build robust, respectful relationships with students, families and colleagues
- Contribute to curriculum planning, meetings and broader school activities (as required)

You will have

- VIT registration (or eligibility for registration) for 2027
- Confidence (or strong willingness to learn) supporting students with diverse disability-related learning needs
- Strong communication skills and a calm, consistent classroom presence
- A reflective practice mindset and commitment to ongoing professional learning
