Experienced Residential Cleaner | Casual or Subcontractor The Divine Clean Co | South East Melbourne The Divine Clean Co is looking for an experienced, reliable and genuinely detail-focused residential cleaner to join our small, local team.

This role would suit someone who already has professional residential cleaning experience and is confident working independently in clients’ homes. We are looking for someone who can take over a regular schedule of cleans across the South East, particularly around Carrum Downs, Skye, Frankston, Cranbourne, Clyde, Officer, Berwick and surrounding areas.

We’re not looking for someone who needs to be taught the basics. You’ll be trusted to walk into a home, understand what needs to be done, work efficiently and leave it looking genuinely clean.

About the role

Initially, we are looking for someone to work approximately 2 weekdays per week, with around 6–15 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours as the client base grows.

The role is primarily during school hours on weekdays, with no evenings or weekends required.

You’ll be taking over a mixture of regular residential clients and one-off/deep cleaning jobs, including:

- Regular residential cleans
- Detailed/deep cleans
- Bathrooms and kitchens
- Dusting and detailed surface cleaning
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Floors throughout the home
- Oven and appliance cleans
- Fridge, cupboard and pantry interiors
- General household cleaning
- Light household tasks such as linen changes where required
- Working through cleaning checklists and maintaining The Divine Clean Co standard

Our clients are mostly busy households, families and mums who value having someone reliable and trustworthy in their home. Attention to detail and consistency are extremely important to us.

What we’re looking for

You will need to

- Have previous qualified residential cleaning experience
- Be confident working independently
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be physically fit and comfortable with active work throughout the day
- Have good communication and customer service skills
- Be respectful of clients, their homes and their privacy
- Be able to follow cleaning standards and checklists
- Take pride in your work rather than simply rushing through a clean
- Have a current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Be willing to provide a Police Check

You must be comfortable travelling between clients across the South East Melbourne area.

What we offer

- Approximately 2 weekdays per week to start
- Around 6–15 hours per week, with room to grow
- Primarily school-hour work
- No evenings or weekends
- Regular clients rather than constantly changing jobs
- A small, close-knit team

- Cleaning equipment supplied
- Approved cleaning products supplied
- Uniform supplied
- Travel allowance between jobs where applicable
- For casual employment: $34 per hour + super
- Opportunity to increase hours as the business and client base grows

We are open to discussing either a casual employment arrangement or subcontractor arrangement with the right person. About The Divine Clean Co The Divine Clean Co is a small, local residential cleaning business servicing South East Melbourne.

We care about quality over quantity. We’re not trying to become a huge cleaning company where clients are just another number. We build long-term relationships with our clients and pride ourselves on providing reliable, detailed and consistent cleans.
