About This Role
Your new role
As a Clinical Nurse Facilitator, you will provide advanced clinical leadership, problem-solving, planning and coordination within the Permanent and Casual Nurse Pool. Working autonomously, you will support high-quality patient care while contributing to staff education, workforce management, quality improvement and professional development.
- Provide expert clinical leadership, supporting complex patient care, clinical decision-making and effective delegation.
- Facilitate education, mentoring and professional development while supporting a positive learning culture.
- Contribute to workforce coordination, rostering, recruitment, quality improvement, research and mandatory competency requirements
About You You are an experienced Registered Nurse with advanced clinical knowledge, solid leadership capabilities and the ability to work confidently in complex and changing environments. You will bring excellent communication, critical thinking and coordination skills, along with a commitment to supporting staff development and delivering person-centred care.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with recent acute nursing experience.
- Solid experience in clinical education, staff facilitation, rostering, recruitment and workforce planning.
- Highly developed communication,
negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels.

Princess Alexandra Hospital The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
