About the role

As an experienced Clinical Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of secure, high-quality patient care within our Short Stay Unit. You will supervise and direct the nursing care provided by registered and enrolled nurses and other caregivers, while providing clinical expertise and local leadership to maintain and continuously improve standards of nursing care.

Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical guidance and support to caregivers, promote best practice, and contribute to a positive culture focused on patient safety, quality and excellence in care.

We are currently seeking two Clinical Nurses to join our Short Stay Unit on a permanent part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your clinical expertise and leadership skills to a dynamic environment while making a meaningful contribution to the care and experience of our patients.

Our Short Stay Unit is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art day surgery facility featuring 3 operating theatres and 23 beds.



The unit provides services across a variety of day surgical specialties and includes a Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), providing a high standard of patient care and recovery following surgery and procedures.

Your skills and experience The successful applicant will be a Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA, you will demonstrate strong clinical experience and leadership skills. To be successful in this role, you will possess advance clinical skills in a Short Stay, Day Surgery and/or PACU environment.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clinical leadership, support caregivers and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

We can offer you

- Salary: $109,599 to $115,682 (pro rata for part-time), plus 12% superannuation

- Two Permanent Part-Time Clinical Nurse positions available.
