About the role

Reporting to the Club's Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective supervision and coordination of daily Club operations across our Bar and Gaming areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality qualified with a robust background in licensed club operations, who can lead and motivate a team, maintain high operational standards and deliver an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

Key responsibilities

- Supervising and managing the day-to-day operations of the Club to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Leading, motivating and supporting staff to achieve high standards of customer service and operational performance.
- Managing staff rosters, shift allocations and staffing requirements to meet operational demands.
- Overseeing Bar and Gaming operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, licensing requirements and Club policies.
- Managing customer enquiries, complaints and incidents, including effectively resolving workplace and customer conflicts.
- Monitoring staff performance, providing feedback, coaching and support where required.
- Ensuring compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG), Work Health and Safety and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, safety and professionalism throughout the Club.




- Working closely with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements and enhance the overall member and guest experience.

About you

- Demonstrated experience managing the day-to-day operations of a licensed club or similar hospitality venue.
- Strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and lead a diverse team.
- Proven experience in staff rostering, workforce planning and managing operational staffing requirements.
- Sound knowledge and practical experience in both Bar and Gaming operations.
- Well-developed conflict resolution, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.
- A thorough understanding of RSA, RCG, workplace safety and licensed venue compliance requirements.
- A hands-on approach, strong work ethic and the flexibility to adapt to changing operational priorities.
- Current NSW RSA and RCG competencies.
- Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
