Physio to You is seeking experienced Community Occupational Therapists to join our team in the following regions;
- Northern Suburbs - Clients are located within 30 minutes of Preston.
- Western suburbs - clients are located within 30 minutes of Sunshine.
- Eastern suburbs - clients are located within 30 minutes of Box Hill.
- South eastern suburbs - clients are located within 30 min of Clayton.
- Mornington Peninsula - clients are located within 30 minutes of Frankston.
This casual role offers the opportunity to work flexibly and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.
Key responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' functional abilities, needs, and goals
2. Develop and implement individualised occupational therapy treatment plans to improve clients' independence and quality of life
3. Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care
4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and client reports.
What we're looking for
1.
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in community-based or home-based occupational therapy
3. Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills to develop tailored treatment plans
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
6. Proficient in using relevant documentation and reporting software
7. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
