The successful applicant will be responsible for safely transporting company goods and completing deliveries as assigned. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate the company vehicle for deliveries and other assigned driving duties.
- Transport goods safely and ensure items are kept in good condition.
- Complete deliveries to the correct locations and recipients.
- Check goods and delivery documents before and after each delivery.
- Keep receipts, delivery records, and other required documents properly.
- Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect goods promptly.
- Follow delivery schedules and instructions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of the company vehicle.
- Follow all applicable Australian road safety requirements and company procedures.
- Communicate promptly with the team regarding delivery issues or delays.
- Handle company goods, documents, and property honestly and responsibly.
Requirements
- Valid Australian driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
- Previous driving or delivery experience is preferred.
- Good driving record.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Honest, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to follow instructions and work independently.
- Able to safely handle and transport goods.
- Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
