About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendants to join the events team at Lakes Hotel & Resorts on a casual basis.

This is a hands-on role suited to hospitality professionals who enjoy the variety and energy of working across different events and functions. You’ll be involved in delivering professional food and beverage service, working closely with the wider team and helping ensure every event runs smoothly from setup through to pack-down.

There may also be opportunities for part-time employment for the right candidates as the events season rumps up.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide friendly, professional and attentive food and beverage service to guests
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and to a high standard
- Assist with event setup, service and pack-down
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service throughout each event
- Work collaboratively with the events and wider hospitality team
- Assist with setting up tables, function spaces and service areas
- Respond to guest requests and enquiries professionally
- Ensure responsible service and venue procedures are followed at all times




- Support the team during busy service periods
- Contribute to creating a positive and memorable guest experience

About You:

- Previous experience in food and beverage, events, functions or hospitality
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Confident working in a fast-paced events environment
- Friendly, professional and well-presented
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Current RSA is essential
- Australian working rights
