About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on casual Event Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the events team at Lakes Hotel & Resorts.

This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone who enjoys leading a team while remaining actively involved in service. You’ll help coordinate the F&B; team across events and functions, ensuring service runs smoothly and guests receive a consistently high standard of hospitality.

Starting on casual basis, there may also be an opportunity for part-time employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and support the F&B; team during events and functions
- Lead by example and remain hands-on throughout service
- Conduct team briefings and communicate event requirements clearly




- Coordinate staff across service areas to ensure smooth event operations
- Monitor service standards, presentation and guest experience
- Assist with event setup, service and pack-down
- Manage guest requests and resolve service issues professionally
- Work closely with the events and management teams
- Support the training and development of F&B; team members
- Ensure responsible service, safety and venue procedures are followed
- Assist with maintaining appropriate staffing and service levels throughout events
- Contribute to a positive and professional team environment

About You:

- Previous experience as an F&B; Supervisor, Event Supervisor, Restaurant Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role
- Previous experience in events, functions, hotels or hospitality
- Confident leading and supporting a team during service
- Strong food and beverage knowledge and service skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Guest-focused with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Reliable, professional and well-presented
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends




- Current RSA is essential
