O’Neill Contracting is a proudly South Australian, family-owned and operated transport and civil construction company with more than 45 years of experience across the Civil Construction and Heavy Haulage industries.

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and switched-on Construction Scheduler & Project Coordinator to join our team at Wingfield.

This is a hands-on coordination role at the centre of our construction operations. You’ll work closely with our Construction Manager to keep projects organised, schedules moving and the many day-to-day pieces behind our jobs on track.

This is a full-time onsite role working 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Due to the operational requirements of our construction team, these hours are an essential requirement of the position.

About the Role

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day scheduling and coordination that keeps our construction projects running smoothly, including:

- Coordinating construction schedules, project bookings and upcoming works.
- Organising subcontractors, trades, suppliers, concrete, pumps, inspections and other project requirements.
- Adjusting schedules and communicating changes when project timelines move.
- Maintaining accurate project information, actions and job status in Monday.com.
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation, electronic job folders, plans, dockets and records.
- Raising purchase orders and assisting with subcontractor invoices,



invoicing and job costing administration.
- Following up outstanding information, bookings and actions to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Supporting safety and compliance administration, including SWMS and project documentation via Worx Safety.
- Providing day-to-day coordination and administrative support to the Construction Manager and wider construction team.
- As your knowledge develops, building capability in areas such as plan interpretation and straightforward quoting support.

Scheduling, bookings, project administration, Monday.com and financial administration have formed the core of the role in practice.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable, confident and able to think ahead.

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience in construction administration, project administration, scheduling or a similar coordination role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong follow-through mindset.
- Confidence communicating with trades, subcontractors, suppliers and internal team members.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the initiative to work out what needs to happen next.




- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
- Experience with Monday.com, Xero or similar systems would be advantageous.
- Construction industry experience will be highly regarded.
- A current Driver’s Licence, with a Construction White Card desirable.
