About the Role:
Applications are sought from suitably qualified Consumer Engagement Coordinators to join the Quality, Risk & Innovation team at Echuca Regional Health.
This position plays a pivotal role in coordinating, promoting, supporting and evaluating consumer participation and patient experience initiatives across the organisation. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with consumers, patients, carers, staff and community stakeholders to ensure the consumer voice is embedded in service planning, delivery and evaluation
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement consumer engagement strategies and frameworks across ERH.
· Facilitate and support consumer participation activities, including recruitment, orientation and ongoing support of consumer representatives. · Coordinate patient experience surveys, including the Victorian Healthcare Experience Survey (VHES), and communicate outcomes to managers and teams.
· Coordinate and promote patient stories and consumer feedback processes throughout the organisation.
· Prepare reports for managers, executive leadership and Board committees.
· Lead the development and review of policies,
procedures and resources relating to consumer participation and patient experience
Qualifications/experience required:
- Experience in a consumer, community engagement or related role.
- Demonstrated understanding of patient, carer and consumer participation within healthcare settings.
· Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills. · Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation of data.
· Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, human services or a community-related field will be highly regarded
