Role Description The Contract Administrator is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the end-to-end management of contracts across excavation and civil engineering projects. Daily tasks include preparing, reviewing, and maintaining contract documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations, and tracking key contract milestones and deliverables. The role involves coordinating with project managers, procurement teams, and external partners to facilitate contract negotiations,
resolve issues, and support timely project delivery.
The Contract
Administrator will also analyze contract terms for risk, cost, and performance implications, assist in procurement activities, and maintain accurate records and reporting to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong contract negotiation and communication skills to manage terms, conditions, and stakeholder expectations.
- Proficiency in contract management and procurement to support drafting, execution, and administration of contracts.
- Solid analytical skills to review contract data, identify risks, and support cost-effective decisions.
- Experience with contract administration in construction, civil engineering, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain detailed documentation.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, law, commerce, construction management, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with contract management software and standard office productivity tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
