Your new company An opportunity is available for an experienced Contract Manager to join a large and complex public sector organisation. You will play a key role in ensuring service continuity, managing supplier performance, mitigating risk and delivering strong commercial outcomes across strategically important contracts.
Your recent role
You will provide dedicated oversight of complex service contracts and act as a trusted advisor on contractual, commercial and supplier performance matters.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing contract performance, compliance obligations and quality assurance requirements.
- Identifying, assessing and mitigating contract and supplier risks.
- Implementing corrective actions where non-compliance or performance issues are identified.
- Building and managing effective relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Leading commercial negotiations and procurement activities.
- Managing whole-of-life contract administration and governance requirements.
- Monitoring supplier performance against service levels and contractual obligations.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and commercial outcomes.
- Providing strategic advice on contract risks, emerging issues and commercial opportunities.
- Preparing reports, recommendations and briefings for senior stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience managing complex service contracts within a large organisation.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, procurement and commercial governance practices.
- Experience leading supplier performance management and compliance activities.
- Well-developed negotiation, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
