About the Role

Aline Group Australia is seeking an experienced Control Wirer to join our switchboard manufacturing team in Moorabbin.

The role involves control wiring of LV switchboards and control panels, working from electrical schematics and drawings to deliver accurate, neat and high-quality electrical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

· Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

· Complete control wiring of LV switchboards and control panels.

· Wire and terminate relays, contactors, circuit breakers, metering, CT circuits, terminal blocks and other control equipment.

· Complete PLC I/O and associated control wiring where required.

· Install ferrules, wire numbers and equipment labels.

· Maintain neat and professional cable routing and termination.

· Check completed wiring against drawings before QA/testing.

· Identify and report drawing discrepancies or wiring issues.

· Rectify defects identified during QA and testing.

· Work closely with fitters, electricians, testers and production staff.

· Follow all WHS,



quality and manufacturing procedures.

Skills & Experience

· Previous control wiring, switchboard wiring or panel-building experience.

· Strong ability to read electrical schematics.

· Good understanding of electrical components and control circuits.

· High attention to detail and quality of workmanship.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

· Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Experience with LV switchboards, MCCs, PLCs, VSDs, ATS systems, metering and electrical testing will be highly regarded.
