Fitchies – Neutral Bay | Full Time

Fitchies is a busy, premium seafood restaurant in Neutral Bay, and we're looking for a hands-on Cook / Assistant Manager to join our team.

This is a excellent chance for someone who is a good cook and wants to develop their skills across the whole restaurant operation.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and cooking fresh seafood and other menu items
- Food prep and maintaining kitchen standards
- Working through busy service periods
- Learning and assisting with customer service and front-of-house
- Helping manage the team and keep shifts running smoothly
- Stock receiving, rotation and organisation
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and restaurant
- Opening and closing duties
- Supporting the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day operations
- Jumping in wherever you're needed

You should be

- Experienced in a commercial kitchen
- Reliable, punctual and hard working
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn all aspects of the business




- Happy to work in both the kitchen and front of house
- Clean, organised and take pride in your work
- A team player who leads by example
- Looking to take the next step into management

There is no "that's not my job" attitude at Fitchies. If the kitchen needs cleaning, you clean it.

If a customer needs help, you help them.
