Montalto Vineyard is a premium hospitality and wine tourism destination operating a restaurant, cellar door and events venue on the Mornington Peninsula. We are seeking an experienced Cook/Chef to join our professional kitchen team on a full-time or casual basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality menu items in a professional kitchen workplace
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal menu planning
- Maintain food quality, presentation and portion control standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards
- Provide guidance to junior cooks and kitchen staff
- Support efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant commercial cooking experience
- Experience working in a professional hospitality kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
- Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays
Salary Competitive Salary commensurate with skills and experience.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
