About the Role
We're looking for a passionate Cook to join our hospitality team and help create enjoyable dining experiences for our residents. You'll play an important role in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals while ensuring a safe, welcoming, and customer-focused food service that supports resident wellbeing every day.

Nestled in a quiet and leafy residential area in Brisbane's south, our Care Community has easy access to excellent local amenities. The nearby train station connects to Brisbane's CBD.
We offer welcoming living spaces in a modern yet homely environment, with personalised care delivered by our experienced team. With an accessible walking path through our expansive gardens, and a large Clubhouse with café and entertainment area, we encourage our residents to stay active and connected. Our two residential buildings feature spacious lounge areas designed for contemporary indoor and outdoor living.

What You'll Do
- Prepare nutritious and appetising meals that meet resident needs and preferences
- Deliver high-quality food service in line with menu requirements and service schedules
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards
- Assist with stock control, deliveries,
and minimising food waste
- Support kitchen operations and catering services to ensure smooth daily delivery
- Build positive relationships with residents and contribute to a great dining experience
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen setting
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and hospitality team to deliver exceptional service

What You'll Bring
- Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen environment
- Certificate II in Hospitality, Trade Cookery qualification, or equivalent experience highly regarded
- Passion for preparing quality food and delivering excellent customer service
- Strong food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to complete:
