The Common Room Café Project in Stirling is looking for a passionate, reliable and energetic Cook to join our team!

We’re a busy and vibrant café that takes pride in serving delicious, fresh food and creating a great experience for our customers. We’re looking for someone who loves food, enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality meals.

About the role

We’re looking for a Cook who:

- Has previous café, restaurant or commercial kitchen experience
- Is passionate about preparing fresh, delicious food
- Can work confidently in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
- Has excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Takes pride in presentation, quality and consistency
- Understands food safety and hygiene requirements
- Works well under pressure and as part of a team
- Is reliable, punctual and has a positive attitude

What you’ll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of café-style meals




- Preparing ingredients and assisting with daily kitchen prep
- Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
- Contributing ideas and helping maintain a positive kitchen environment
