About the role In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of our Child and Parent Centre, leading a team to deliver engaging, structured playgroups, parent education, early intervention and family support programs. Build strong partnerships with families, schools and local services, ensuring people are connected with the right support at the right time, and contribute to the design of programs that respond to the needs of the community. Provide guidance and supervision to your team, promote safe and effective practice, and keep programs on track through careful planning, collaboration and sound judgement.

About you

You are confident in making decisions, navigating complexity and supporting others to perform at their best. You bring a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to your practice and value working collaboratively with children, families, colleagues and community partners. Your key experience will include:

- Experience coordinating programs, services or teams within a community, family, children’s or similar environment.
- Leadership or supervision experience, with a focus on building capability and creating a positive team culture.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families, schools, community services and other stakeholders.
- An understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based and person-centred approaches.
- Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook




- Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable.
- A current Driver’s Licence.
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Department of Education Clearance obtained within the past three years.
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
