Primary objective
Provide high-quality professional design and production services that support Tourism and Events NT (TENT)’s business objectives.
The role produces print, digital, video and animation assets and contributes to asset library management and Creative Solutions service delivery.
Context statement The Creative Solutions team supports destination marketing, major events, industry development and other agency programs and initiatives. Work is delivered in a fast-paced workplace shaped by fixed campaign and event deadlines, requiring the role to balance competing requests and collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders and external suppliers across the Territory.
Some work outside ordinary hours and occasional travel may be required to support events and content production.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Design and produce high-quality visual materials tailored to target audiences and communication objectives for a diverse range
of internal and external uses.
1. Manage multiple assigned projects concurrently and coordinate end-to-end delivery across print, outdoor media, advertising,
merchandise, digital channels, video, animation and internal collateral.
1. Apply user-experience and customer-centred design principles to produce digital assets, including webpages, digital display
advertising, email templates and social media content.
1. Interpret creative briefs and develop campaign concepts that meet communication and marketing objectives, present
recommendations to internal stakeholders and coordinate with external production partners to deliver approved work.
1. Ensure all marketing and communication materials produced comply with the applicable brand guidelines across TENT’s
portfolio of brands, events, programs and initiatives.
1. Assist with the management and maintenance of visual and digital assets, including cataloguing, storage and retrieval of
photographs, videos and design files, metadata, permissions and associated paperwork, and recommend practical improvements to asset-management processes.

1. Demonstrated ability to develop creative concepts and produce high-quality marketing and communication materials that
respond to brand requirements, target audiences and contemporary design practice, including preparing print-ready artwork to production specifications.
1. Demonstrated technical capability in digital content design and production, including applying user interface and user-
experience principles to webpage designs, digital advertising, email templates and social media assets, and producing edited video, animation and motion graphics.
1. Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
2. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines, build productive relationships with stakeholders
and external suppliers, and deliver creative work on time and to brief.
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating, contributing ideas
and sharing responsibilities as part of a team. Desirable
1. A tertiary qualification in graphic design, visual communication or a related discipline.
2. Experience in a design or creative agency environment, including knowledge of printing and production processes.
3. Experience or understanding of events, tourism marketing, social media and user-generated content, including the use of digital
asset-management systems to catalogue, store and retrieve visual assets.
1. Experience capturing high-quality video and photographic content, including operating camera, lighting and audio equipment.
