Customer Field Technician An exciting prospect is available for a Customer Field Technician to join a growing telecommunications team supporting the installation, maintenance and repair of Australia's broadband network across Townsville and surrounding areas.
If you enjoy hands-on work, solving technical problems and providing excellent customer service, this could be the perfect role for you.
About the Role:
- Install and activate broadband services for residential and business customers
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to network infrastructure
- Test, commission and maintain telecommunications equipment
- Complete service upgrades and maintenance activities
- Work independently across multiple customer sites each day
- Provide professional customer service and technical support
- Accurately complete job reports using mobile technology
What You'll Need:
- White Card and relevant telecommunications qualifications advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to work safely and independently in the field
- Experience in telecommunications, electrical, construction or a trade background highly regarded
