About Chris Albertini Automotive

Chris Albertini Automotive is a well-established, family-owned and operated business that has been providing quality vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to our local community for over 30 years.

We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, exceptional customer service and the long-standing relationships we have built with our customers.

We are a small, experienced and friendly team, so every person plays an important role. We’re looking for someone who wants to become a valued part of that team and who takes pride in providing great customer service and keeping things organised behind the scenes.

About the role

You’ll be an important link between our customers, technicians and workshop management, making sure information is communicated clearly, bookings are organised, customers are kept informed and the front office runs smoothly throughout the day.

You’ll suit this position if you genuinely enjoy dealing with people, are friendly, professional and well-organised.

Previous automotive experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. Strong customer service, communication and organisational skills are what matter most—we can provide training in our automotive software and workshop procedures.

As a key member of our front office team, your responsibilities will include:

- Being the welcoming first point of contact for our customers
- Answering inbound calls from customers and suppliers.
- Responding to customer enquiries and directing technical enquiries appropriately
- Managing vehicle bookings and maintaining an organised workshop diary
- Ensuring correct completion of job cards, customer contact forms, etc

- Co-ordinating parts ordering with job bookings/quotations.
- Accurately recording customers' vehicle details and repair requirements
- Keeping customers informed about the progress of their vehicles
- Preparing customer invoices, quotations and reminders
- Processing customer payments, reconciliations and banking
- Liaison with automotive parts suppliers and other industry associations.
- Using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and other office applications
- Using automotive industry software programs - with training provided
- Assisting occasionally with the collection of parts or customers
- Keeping the reception and front office area organised, professional and running efficiently

You'll Be a Great Fit If You...

- Genuinely enjoy customer service and dealing with people
- Have a friendly, professional and confident manner
- Are highly organised, accurate and valuable at keeping track of multiple tasks
- Can manage bookings to meet both customer expectations and workshop needs.
- Can take initiative and follow through on tasks to meet deadlines.
- Can communicate effectively between customers, technicians and suppliers.
- Are dependable, punctual and able to work independently
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience in an automotive workshop, dealership,

service department or similar customer service environment would be an advantage, but is not essential. If you have excellent front-office customer service and strong administration skills and are willing to learn the automotive side of the role, we'd like to hear from you.

A current driver's licence is essential for this position, as the role may occasionally involve collecting customers or parts. Please do not apply if you do not hold a current Driver's Licence.

Benefits

- Above-award rate of pay + superannuation
- 3.00 pm finish every Friday
- No weekend work
- Staff pricing on repairs and servicing for your personal motor vehicle
- Stable employment with a long-established local business
- On-the-job training in our automotive systems and procedures
- Support from an experienced team
- A small, friendly workplace with excellent customer relationships.
