Discount Toy Co is a growing Australian online toy retailer, and we are looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Customer Service & Inventory Coordinator to join our warehouse team in Asquith.

This is an on-site position with a varied workload across customer service, inventory management and day-to-day eCommerce operations.

We are ideally looking for someone to work the role on a full-time basis; however, job share arrangements may be considered for the right candidates, so we also welcome applications from experienced candidates seeking part-time hours.

The primary focus of the role will be looking after our customers and helping maintain accurate inventory. However, we are a hands-on team, so there will also be opportunities to assist with other areas of the business, including receiving stock, picking and packing orders and helping with social media content.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Responding to customer enquiries via email and phone in a friendly, professional and timely manner
- Assisting customers with order enquiries, deliveries, returns, exchanges and product information
- Following up delivery issues and other order-related enquiries with couriers and suppliers
- Managing and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
- Updating product and inventory information in our eCommerce systems
- Receiving incoming stock and checking deliveries against supplier documentation
- Assisting with stocktakes and general inventory organisation
- Liaising with our warehouse team regarding customer orders and stock availability
- Assisting with picking and packing customer orders when required, particularly during busy periods




- Helping create and upload content to our social media channels
- Providing general administrative and operational support across the business as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, dependable and genuinely enjoys helping customers.

You will ideally have

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A friendly and professional approach to customer service
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence using computers and learning new systems
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Good problem-solving skills and the initiative to follow issues through to resolution
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
- A flexible, hands-on attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

Experience in eCommerce, Shopify, inventory management, retail, warehousing or customer service would be highly regarded, but training can be provided for the right person.

Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook would also be an advantage.

What We're Looking For

Our warehouse can become particularly busy during peak periods such as Black Friday and Christmas, so we're looking for someone who remains organised and positive when things get busy.





This role would suit someone who enjoys variety. One moment you may be helping a customer locate their parcel, the next investigating a stock discrepancy or helping the warehouse team process a new delivery.

We're a relatively small team, so being willing to pitch in and help each other is an important part of the role.

Hours & Position Details The standard hours for the role are:

- Monday–Thursday: 8:30am–4:30pm
- Friday: 9:00am–2:30pm
- During our peak Christmas period in November and December, Friday hours extend to 9:00am–4:30pm
- On-site at our Asquith warehouse
- Full-time preferred, however job share arrangements may be considered
- Immediate start available
- Salary based on experience
