Your new company

Join a large, asset-intensive enterprise in a hands-on contract role spanning data, systems integration and automation. You'll work across complex enterprise platforms, using SQL, Python and APIs to connect systems, reconcile data and develop practical solutions to operational challenges. Alongside the technical delivery, you'll work directly with business, engineering and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into reliable, production-ready solutions.

Your new role In this role, you will:

- Work with SQL and relational data across multiple enterprise platforms
- Build and support integrations using REST APIs
- Develop lightweight web applications and services using Python, including frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI or Django
- Automate workflows and improve how data moves between systems
- Reconcile data across platforms and investigate inconsistencies
- Work across system-of-record architectures and understand integration points between enterprise systems and data products
- Engage directly with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into technical solutions
- Gather, define and document requirements for new solutions and enhancements
- Support testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements
- Facilitate discovery sessions and collaborate with engineers, architects, project teams and business leaders
- Develop solutions designed for ongoing production use rather than solely proof-of-concept work

What you'll need to succeed You'll bring a strong technical foundation combined with the ability to understand business requirements and work confidently with a range of stakeholders.



Ideally, you'll have:

- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational or enterprise data platforms
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, including authentication, pagination and error handling
- Python development experience using Flask, FastAPI, Django or similar frameworks
- Experience with systems integration, workflow automation or data reconciliation
- An understanding of enterprise systems, data flows and system-of-record concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Confidence in communicating across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working across multidisciplinary project or delivery teams
- Experience within asset management, engineering, maintenance or reliability environments would be highly regarded.
- Exposure to Git, CI/CD practices and agentic AI or LLM tooling would also be beneficial.
