Role: Data SME

Location: Sydney

Permanent (Fulltime)

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end data solution design aligned to the Target Data Architecture on AWS

- Define data ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption patterns using AWS services

- Design migration approaches from Teradata to AWS Redshift including coexistence and cutover strategies

- Define data domain models and data products to support business use cases across Customer, Billing, Usage, and Network domains

- Provide solution design support for reporting, analytics, and digital application consumption use cases

- Establish data governance, security, quality, lineage, and access control standards

- Provide Design and architectural oversight during build, testing, reconciliation, and production rollout

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience





- 12 years’ experience in data architecture or solution design

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Data Ecosystems (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Athena, Airflow) and dbt

- Experience working with Teradata Telco Data Models such as CLDM

- Experience working with Siebel CRM data models

- Solid understanding of data lake, data warehouse and Lake Formation architecture and design patterns, Data Governance and Data Quality Process

- Experience delivering large-scale AWS data modernisation programs

- Telecommunications industry experience is highly desirable.
