Role Overview

NTT Data is seeking a Defence Cyber Security Accreditation SME to support critical security accreditation and system authorisation activities within a Defence environment. This role is focused on security assurance, accreditation documentation, risk assessments, evidence management, and compliance with Defence security frameworks. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and maintaining the documentation, controls, and evidence required to achieve and maintain system accreditation and authorisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Defence security accreditation artefacts and assurance documentation.
- Prepare and maintain System Security Plans (SSP) and supporting accreditation documentation.
- Conduct security risk assessments and manage risk registers.
- Develop and maintain documentation including BILA, SAP, SSP Annex, SRMP, CMP, CSIRP, and Security SOPs.
- Map and assess security controls against ISM, PSPF, and Defence security requirements.
- Collect, maintain, and manage evidence supporting security controls and compliance obligations.
- Support system accreditation, authorisation activities, audits, Design Authority reviews, and remediation tracking.

Skills & Experience
- Strong previous experience supporting Defence, Government, or highly regulated environments.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience preparing security accreditation and security assurance documentation.
- Proven capability developing SSP, SAP, BILA, SRMP, and related security artefacts.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian ISM, PSPF, and Defence security frameworks.
- Experience conducting security control assessments and evidence mapping activities.
- Strong security risk management and risk assessment capability.
- Current NV1 Security Clearance and ability to work onsite within a Defence environment.
