A2Z Dental Clinic is looking for a happy, motivated and caring staff member to join our team. We offer a full range of dental treatments with multiple practitioners, so no two days are ever the same.

A bit about the role:Your role will include working autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment where you will be required to think on your feet as well as to think ahead. You will also need to be flexible and handle unpredictable finish times due to emergency patients etc.

You must be confident and considerate in talking to patients and be able to easily converse with patients and team members of all ages. This busy but rewarding position will suit someone who is organized, can multi-task, takes initiative but also follows directions.

Your duties:

- Preparing the surgery for the day.
- Greeting and assisting patients.
- Assisting the Dentists during procedures.
- Assisting with charting and x-rays.
- Cleaning and sterilising the surgery between patients.
- Sterilisation of dental instruments.
- Monitoring stock levels.
- Following current infection control guidelines with attention to detail.

What we are looking for:

- Previous nursing and/or dental nursing experience (either/both preferred,



but not essential - training will be provided).
- Previous experience using Dental4Windows or Dental4Web software (preferred, but not essential).
- Proficient with the use of computers and technology (essential).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to show initiative and work in a close team setting.
- Well organized, reliable and efficient.
- Good time management skills.
- Professional, approachable and friendly attitude.
- Good at problem-solving.
- Ability to handle working in a fast-paced environment.

What we can offer:

- Permanent part-time position
- Hourly rate between $28 - $31
- 2-4 days per week with the possibility for more.
- 7.30am - 5.30pm
- 1 hour paid lunch
- Immediate start available for the right person
