We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, maintain and continuously improve our software development, deployment, cloud infrastructure and operational environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with software developers, technical teams, project stakeholders and business users to ensure reliable system integration, secure deployments, high system availability and efficient technical operations.

Key Responsibilities DevOps & Infrastructure

· Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software build, testing and deployment.

· Manage and optimise cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments.

· Configure and maintain servers, databases, networking and application environments.

· Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and operational processes.

· Monitor system performance, availability, capacity and reliability.

· Identify and resolve infrastructure and application deployment issues.

Software Deployment & System Integration

· Coordinate software releases across development, testing, staging and production environments.

· Support application deployment, configuration and version management.

· Integrate applications, APIs, databases and third-party systems.

· Troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple systems and environments.

· Work with development teams to improve application performance, reliability and scalability.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

· Implement and maintain appropriate security controls across infrastructure and applications.

· Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities, unusual activity and potential threats.

· Assist with vulnerability management, patching and security updates.





· Implement secure authentication, access control and secrets management practices.

· Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.

· Maintain appropriate technical documentation and security procedures.

Monitoring & Technical Support

· Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.

· Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis.

· Provide technical support for production systems and critical applications.

· Participate in incident response and problem management.

· Proactively identify potential failures and recommend preventative measures.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

· Develop scripts and automation tools to reduce manual operational tasks.

· Improve deployment processes, system reliability and operational efficiency.

· Identify opportunities to introduce DevOps best practices and automation.

· Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies, tools and platforms.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and operational processes.

Required Skills and Experience

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

· 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure,



systems engineering or a related technical role.

· Strong experience with CI/CD technologies and automated deployment processes.

· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

· Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server environments.

· Experience with Docker and containerisation; Kubernetes experience is highly desirable.

· Strong scripting/programming skills using technologies such as Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar.

· Experience with Git and modern source-control practices.

· Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.

· Knowledge of networking, DNS, APIs, databases and system integration.

· Robust understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure infrastructure practices.

· Experience with monitoring, logging and incident-management tools.

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Desirable Experience

· Experience designing and managing highly available production environments.

· Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

· Experience with Terraform, Ansible or other Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.

· Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.

· Experience with automated security scanning and vulnerability management.

· Experience with microservices and API-based architectures.

· Experience working with geographically distributed development and technical teams.

· Experience supporting multiple customer, franchise or business locations.

· Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
