Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator (Maternity Leave Cover)

We are seeking a passionate and committed Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our Aura Early Learning Lenah Valley team on a maternity leave contract. This is a fixed-term position, with the opportunity for the contract to be extended, providing the successful applicant with the chance to become a valued member of our team beyond the initial maternity leave period, subject to service needs.

What you’ll do

- Deliver engaging, play-based educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Support children’s learning journeys through observation, documentation, and planning
- Build meaningful partnerships with families and the community
- Collaborate with fellow educators and provide guidance to ensure best practice




- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and service policies

What we’re looking for

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to creating positive, inclusive, and safe learning environments
