As Centre Director and Nominated Supervisor, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service. You will be supported by Kinley management while having the autonomy to lead your centre, build a positive team culture and create an environment where children and educators can thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Providing strong, visible and supportive leadership to the team
- Ensuring the highest standards of child safety, wellbeing and safeguarding
- Leading compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
- Driving continuous improvement and supporting the service's Quality Improvement Plan
- Building meaningful relationships with children and their families
- Supporting educators to deliver high-quality, play-based educational programmes
- Developing, mentoring and retaining a strong and engaged team
- Managing staffing, rosters and the day-to-day operation of the centre
- Supporting enrolments, occupancy and positive family engagement
- Creating a workplace culture where educators feel valued, respected and supported
About you
- A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
- Previous leadership experience within an early childhood service
- The ability to undertake the responsibilities of Nominated Supervisor
- Solid knowledge of the National Quality Framework, EYLF and regulatory requirements
- A genuine commitment to child safety and creating a strong safeguarding culture
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing educators
- Sound operational and organisational skills
- A positive, solutions-focused leadership style
