Casual Disability Support Worker-Campbelltown & Macquarie Fields, NSW

Tree of Goals Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team in the Campbelltown and Macquarie Fields region.

We are looking for caring and professional support workers who are confident providing personal care, daily living support and support for participants with complex behaviours.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide one-on-one and small-group support based on each participant's needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and daily living support.
- Support participants at home and in the community.
- Assist with appointments, shopping, outings and recreational activities.
- Support participants with employment and skill development.
- Assist participants with complex behaviours according to their support plans.
- Follow individual support plans, behaviour support plans and company procedures.
- Monitor participant safety, wellbeing and general presentation.
- Report concerns and incidents to the Manager.
- Complete accurate case notes, progress reports and communication records.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, case managers and other professionals.
- Support the development and review of individual support and training programs.
- Act as a key worker for designated participants when required.
- Attend team meetings, case reviews and training.
- Maintain professional boundaries and participant confidentiality.
- Complete timesheets and required documentation through ShiftCare.
- Keep required certificates and compliance documents up to date.
- Notify the company as early as possible if you cannot attend a rostered shift.
- Provide support to other team members when required.

Experience Required Minimum 1 year of relevant disability support experience.

Experience with personal care and complex behaviours is highly regarded.

Qualifications & Checks

Applicants should have, or be willing to obtain:

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Services, or equivalent.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Check.
- National Hand Hygiene Initiative Certificate.
- 100 points of identification.
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
