Disability Support Worker – Central Coast and Newcastle

Professional Care Supports is looking for experienced, reliable and genuinely caring Disability Support Workers to join our growing Central Coast team.

We support people with a range of disabilities, including participants with psychosocial disabilities and complex support needs. We are looking for people who understand that great support means building trust, encouraging independence, and treating every person with dignity and respect.

The role may include supporting participants in their homes and in the community, attending appointments and activities, assisting with daily living and personal care, providing transport, supporting participants to work towards their individual goals and completing clear and accurate shift notes.

Experience supporting participants with psychosocial disabilities is highly regarded. You will need to be confident, calm and professional, with the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and respond to different situations in a respectful and person-centred way.

Availability and flexibility are a must.



Our participants require support across different days and times, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. We are looking for people who can offer genuine flexibility and who are reliable once they commit to a shift.

Applicants must have a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check where required, First Aid and CPR, a current driver licence, comprehensive car insurance and access to a reliable vehicle.
