We are looking for a reliable, caring and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide quality support to an NDIS participant in Melbourne.

This is initially a 2-day-per-week role, 5 hours per day, with the potential for additional support work and more hours in the near future as further client requirements become available.

About the role The successful person will be expected to:

- Provide respectful and person-centred support
- Assist with daily activities and community participation
- Support the participant according to their individual needs and care plan
- Encourage independence and confidence
- Provide companionship and social support
- Maintain skilled boundaries and confidentiality
- Complete basic support documentation where required
- Follow NDIS standards, participant preferences and safety requirements

Essential requirements





Applicants should have

✅ ABN / ability to work as a genuine independent contractor

✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness/eligibility to obtain one

✅ Current First Aid & CPR certificate (Not Mandatory)

✅ Police Check

✅ Working With Children Check (WWCC) where applicable to the role

✅ Relevant disability/support experience

✅ Good communication and interpersonal skills

✅ Reliable and dependable

✅ Australian working rights

✅ Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle if transport is required by the participant

Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
