Join our friendly, community-minded team as a Disability Support Worker across Cooma, Bombala, Jindabyne and Berridale.

Working across our Home & Living and Individualised Supports services, you’ll have the prospect to support people in both shared and individual supports.

We’re seeking exceptional people who can bring flexibility to our 24/7 roster, particularly across overnight supports, including sleepover and active night shifts, as well as morning, afternoon and evening shifts.

As Disability Support Worker, you’ll provide practical, person-centred support at home and in the community, helping participants build independence, achieve their goals and stay connected to the things that matter to them. This may include attending appointments, engaging in social, recreational or vocational activities, or spending time with family and friends.

Whilst every day brings new challenges, some of the day-to-day duties may include:

- Provide daily living and personal care support, including assistance with showering, toileting, dressing, household tasks and mobility assistance.
- Administering medication and offering mobility assistance including the use of lifts & hoists.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date record-keeping and shift notes.
- Supporting participants with attendance at appointments and community-based events.
- Offering meaningful and active support to enable participants to achieve their goals.

The hourly part-time rate is between $36.22 - $39.53 and the casual rate is between $45.28 - $49.41 (inclusive of casual loading) depending upon relevant qualification and experience.



With services operating 24/7, flexibility across a range of shifts is essential. You’ll also have the opportunity to work across Individualised Supports, supporting participants at home and in the community, with set support hours offering flexibility for those balancing study or caring responsibilities.

What you’ll need to succeed in the role

- A genuine desire to provide high quality, person-centred support and use a creative approach in enabling an inclusive experience for people with disability at home and in the community.
- Strong interpersonal skills and initiative to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- The ability to stay calm and be adaptable in challenging situations.
- An understanding of privacy and confidentiality and how to treat sensitive information appropriately.
- Confidence using a range of technical platforms to complete shift notes, incident reporting and electronic timesheets.

- Flexibility and adaptability to work shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnights (including sleepover shifts) as well as weekends.
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check. Along with valid Australian working rights,



NSW Drivers Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

- To be successful in this position you will be required to have availability to attend a 2-week onboarding training commencing late October 2026.
