Are you an experienced Early Childhood Educator who knows what high-quality practice actually looks like?

Groovy Kidz Childcare Centre & OSHC is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

About the role

You will be an important member of our early learning team, contributing to the education, care and wellbeing of children while helping create an engaging, responsive and high-quality learning setting.

Key responsibilities

- Developing and implementing high-quality educational programs aligned with EYLF
- Using observations, children's interests, strengths and learning to inform programming
- Planning intentional teaching experiences and play-based learning opportunities
- Documenting and evaluating children's learning
- Building strong, respectful relationships with children and families
- Maintaining effective supervision and high standards of health and safety
- Demonstrating knowledge and application of the NQS, NQF and National Regulations
- Participating in critical reflection and continuous improvement
- Working collaboratively with educators and contributing positively to the room team
- Supporting an environment where children feel safe, secure, valued and capable

About you





- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience working in an early learning service
- Strong knowledge of EYLF
- Strong knowledge of the NQS and NQF
- Proven ability to develop, implement and evaluate educational programs
- Understanding of children's development and learning
- Strong documentation and observation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine commitment to child safety and children's wellbeing
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications
